Part Six — take a moment, observe your surroundings
When 2024 pulled up to the gate and rang the doorbell, I answered by opening the book “The Untethered Soul” by Michael A. Singer.
Mr. Singer doesn’t waste any time and begins with the not-so-simple task of awakening consciousness. I’m still in chapter one.
In an effort to share my journey, learn about and have faith in myself, I’m sharing my journal entries here. I respect that your life experiences and soul journeys may look very different from mine and ask only that you respect my soul journey as well.

Lesson Six: Take a moment, observe your surroundings
Mr. Singer’s prompt: “Observe your surroundings. Write down what you see outside of yourself.”
Here’s how it went:
Enter: old, old lady (OOL) and the young woman (YW)
OOL: Ready . . . set . . . go!
YW: What??
OOL: Observe your surroundings. What do you see around you? Hurry!
YW: Why me? Technically, I’m not even here. I’m you from many, many decades ago — remember?
