Part Ten — freeing yourself from the part within that has so many problems

When 2024 pulled up to the gate and rang the doorbell, I answered by opening the book “The Untethered Soul” by Michael A. Singer.

Mr. Singer doesn’t waste any time and begins with the not-so-simple task of awakening consciousness. I’m still in chapter one…..yes, still.

In an effort to share my journey, learn about and have faith in myself, I’m sharing my journal entries here. I respect that your life experiences and soul journeys may look very different from mine and ask only that you respect my soul journey as well.

Lesson Ten: You’ll never be free of problems until you are free from the part within that has so many problems. When a problem is disturbing you, don’t ask, “What should I do about it?” Ask, “What part of me is disturbed by this?” If you ask, “What should I do about it?” you’ve already fallen into believing that there is a problem outside that must be dealth with.

Mr. Singer’s prompt: Today, every time something happens that hits your stuff, and you feel your energy changing, ask: “What part of me is being disturbed?” Now contemplate: Is it really the…
