Part Eleven — problems are generally not what they appear

When 2024 pulled up to the gate and rang the doorbell, I answered by opening the book “The Untethered Soul” by Michael A. Singer.

Mr. Singer doesn’t waste any time and begins with the not-so-simple task of awakening consciousness. I’m still in chapter one…..yes, still.

In an effort to share my journey, learn about and have faith in myself, I’m sharing my journal entries here. I respect that your life experiences and soul journeys may look very different from mine and ask only that you respect my soul journey as well.

Come to know the one who watches the voice, and you will come to know one of the great mysteries of creation. — Michael A. Singer

Lesson Eleven: Problems are generally not what they appear to be. The real problem is that there is something inside of you that can have a problem with almost anything. You have to break the habit of thinking that the solution to your problems is to rearrange things outside. This involves a change from “outer solution consciousness” to “inner solution consciousness.” The only permanent solution to your problems is to go inside and let go of the part of you that seems to have so many problems with reality. Once you do that, you’ll be clear enough to deal with what’s left.
